Role Overview

We are excited to get to know you. We are hiring a skilled Data Analyst / Report Writer. The right candidate will have a passion for collecting, documenting, and building valuable reports for clients and internal stakeholders. You will use tools like Looker to build well designed reports and dashboards, analyze data quality issues, create data models, views, and explore using LookML. You will achieve success in this role by providing actionable insights to enhance our services and improve client outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Design and build high value reports for clients and internal stakeholders.

• Ensure reports are understandable, accurate and useful.

• Build dashboards and reports using Looker, translating data into actionable insights.

• Analyze and identify potential sources of data quality issues, implementing solutions to ensure data integrity.

• Build and maintain data models, views, and explore using LookML in Looker, ensuring efficient data processing.

• Understand data mapping from source systems to the data warehouse, optimizing data flow and transformation processes.

What You Bring

• Describe the experience and attributes of the ideal candidate
• 2+ years of work experience in a Report Writing / Analyst role, preferably in a data-intensive environment.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data structures.
• Proficiency in standard SQL queries, with the ability to write complex queries for data analysis.
• Experience with data analysis and creating compelling reports and visual dashboards using BI tools.
• Familiarity with tools like Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, or any other Business Intelligence platforms.
• Experience with modeling data using LookML (Looker’s modeling language) is a significant advantage.
• Degree or diploma in statistics or a related field is a plus.
• Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or JavaScript is a bonus.
  Experience in moving and processing data using Apache Airflow is highly desirable.
