  • Our technology platform proactively helps SMBs prevent cyber attacks by monitoring their cybersecurity controls
  • If an attack happens, our platform’s cyber warranty kicks in, providing up to $500k in coverage to an SMB
  • We partner with IT/security providers to get our platform and the cyber warranty into the SMB’s hands

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. As an BDR, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, primarily in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) space. Your main objective will be to schedule qualified appointments for our sales team by engaging potential clients through phone calls and email outreach. This position will report to Cork’s Chief Revenue Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out aggressive cold outreach across several mediums.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential leads and prospects within the MSP space.
  • Utilize HubSpot CRM and other tools to manage and track lead interactions, appointments, and follow-ups.
  • Make outbound calls to engage with prospects and qualify leads.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Corks offering, target market, and competitive landscape.
  • Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria and set up appointments for our sales team—ideally, MSPs with over 1,000 managed endpoints.



Requirements:

  • You gotta have grit and work autonomously and be able to raise the bar for yourself and others around you. This is start-up world and if you have any doubt about your ability to be creative, vivacious and to push through challenges, there are plenty of easier roles or companies for you to find.
  • Previous experience in a similar BDR or sales role, preferably in the technology or MSP industry or Cybersecurity space.
  • Strong knowledge of the MSP space, including industry trends, challenges, and key players.
  • Proficiency in using HubSpot CRM or similar customer relationship management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage prospects effectively over the phone and through email.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote work environment.
