The Role:

As a Software Engineer, you will work closely with our product leaders, playing a key role in the integration of our cybersecurity platform with other cyber platforms. Your contributions will be critical in enhancing the functionality, efficiency, and security of our services. You will design and implement new cybersecurity solutions for Cork’s platform, as well as support the maintenance efforts for existing functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and integration of Cork’s cyber warranty and risk assessment platform with different companies in the cybersecurity ecosystem using Golang, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
• Participate in product enhancement initiatives, helping to introduce new features and improve existing functionalities.
• Contribute to the team's efforts in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Aid in bug identification and resolution, working towards enhancing the overall stability and performance of our products.
• Collaborate effectively with the software engineering team and other departments to meet project deadlines and objectives.
• Assist development team with DevOps and other infrastructure requirements.

Requirements:

• 2 or more years working in a software development team environment
• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field, or 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrable skills in Golang, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Git.
• Basic understanding of AWS.
• High level understanding of REST and other types of APIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be a US citizen.
